The short version
You don’t create an account and we don’t ask for your name, email, or any personal details to browse or rate tools. We don’t sell your data and we don’t run third-party advertising trackers.
What we store
- Your ratings & likes. When you rate (★) a tool or mark a tool or connector as useful (♥/👍), we save that choice. To count one vote per browser and prevent duplicates, we generate a random anonymous device ID stored in your browser. It is not linked to your identity and we can’t use it to identify you.
- Saved stacks. The tools and connectors you save to your stacks stay only in your browser (local storage) — they are not sent to us.
- In your browser (local storage):
topstr.device(the anonymous ID),topstr.ratings,topstr.likes,topstr.stacks. These are not cookies and are not used for advertising. - On our server: your ratings/likes (tool or connector, stars, like, anonymous device ID, timestamp) so we can show community averages.
- Standard logs. Our hosting provider records basic technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and operation.
Service providers
We use a small number of processors to run the site: Vercel (hosting/delivery) and Neon (database for community ratings). Your use is also subject to their privacy practices.
How we use it
Only to operate the site: to show community rating averages, remember your saved stack and votes on your device, and keep the service secure. We do not sell or rent data.
Your choices
You can clear everything we store on your device at any time by clearing your browser’s site data / local storage for topstr.net. That also resets your anonymous device ID.

We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law. If you believe we hold information about you and want to exercise a privacy right, contact us at iknowjack@gmail.com.
Children
Topstr AI is not directed to children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll change the “last updated” date above when we do.
